TICKETING POLICY

We hope you come along and have the tastiest day out at the 2022 Horowhenua Taste Trail. When reading through this policy please remember that the Horowhenua Taste Trail is a not for profit organisation so we need to ensure we are financially sustainable and to ensure we can continue to offer events into the future we need to operate with policies like this in place.

Tickets are non-refundable. However, in the unlikely event that the Horowhenua Taste Trail is cancelled, and the event is not rescheduled, tickets will be refunded at point of purchase.

Horowhenua Taste Trail 2022 is a family event and intoxicated behaviour will not be tolerated and access to the event will be denied. 

Photographs taken at Horowhenua Taste Trail may be used for promotional and marketing purposes.  

By sharing photographs and videos via Social Media, you grant to Horowhenua Taste Trail a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, modify, delete from, add to, publicly display and/or reproduce, your photos and videos (content), including without limitation in any online media formats and through any social media channels, social media marketing, e-newsletters, pages or accounts.

Horowhenua Taste Trail cannot be held responsible for any ‘Deluxe Tours Passengers’ left behind; this responsibility falls on the individual. Departure times are stated and need to be adhered too.
 
COVID-19 FAQ’s
Horowhenua Taste Trail is planned for Saturday 26 November 2022.

Will the Horowhenua Taste Trail go ahead in the COVID-19 Protection Framework? The COVID-19 Protection Framework and the Traffic Light settings, have been removed so we can hold Taste Trail in November 2022 with confidence.

However, if the Manawatu region moves back to the to COVID-19 Protection Framework or Red Light at any time or health risks mean we cannot operate we will postpone or cancel the event and communicate with ticket holders about these changes.
The current COVID-19 environment in which we are all living in is an ever changing environment, and we greatly appreciate everyone's continued support.

Do masks need to be worn? At certain parts of the tour because of food regulations masks will be required to be worn and in some instances hair nets, this will be clearly articulated by the producer at the time, and these will be provided by the producer. In all other areas of the Horowhenua Taste Trail, masks are optional. 

Can I get a refund on my event tickets?
You will be given the option of a refund for any of the following reasons:

  • If we cancel Horowhenua Taste Trail
  • If we are in a Red Light setting in Manawatu which restricts travel in and out of regions that may affect you personally.
  • If we postpone and you are unable to attend on the new dates.

Please be mindful however that Horowhenua Taste Trail tickets cannot be refunded due to a change in mind.

What if I can’t travel due to COVID-19?
If you are unable to travel to Horowhenua  for Taste Trail due to any official regional restrictions, any event tickets you have purchased will be refunded in accordance with our ticket refund policy. We will require proof of travel cancellation to process ticket refunds (e.g. Air New Zealand ticket credit).

Will I have to be fully vaccinated to attend?
No.

Will it be safe to attend?
Yes! Horowhenua Taste Trail producers, and caterers take the issue of health and safety very seriously. Every site who participates will be required to abide by current public health and safety measures as determined by the government.
